Volumes have been set forth on this issue, and the bickering and disharmony about where the "hot" slot games are located in the casino are still passionate - 60 years after the slots were first placed in gambling dens.

The quintessential rule is that the very best slot games were positioned just inside the door of the casino; so that folks going by would be able to see real jackpot winners ... be intrigued enough to come unto the gambling floor ... play. Our philosophy is that this is definitely no longer the case.
